DIVIS BEHIND THE SCENES

Our colleagues in product development

Here we introduce you to the agile workflows in our product development.
Meet the colleagues who are involved in these processes: our development team.

Christopher Hinz | DIVIS

Christopher Hinz

The Master of Science, who also likes using the computer in his spare time, not only supports his colleagues in programming, but also works on his own projects at DIVIS and is involved in programming for existing as well as completely new solutions.

His motto?
"Improvise. Adapt. Overcome "

He is filling exactly the right position with this motto, because Christopher especially loves the challenge of solving complex technical problems and creating new solutions.
He is just as happy and quick to familiarise himself with new issues.
At DIVIS, he particularly enjoys the flat hierarchies and the friendly teamwork.
For him, customer enthusiasm means identification with the product and its features, because that kind of employee enthusiasm in his opinion also reflects externally.
This is exactly what he sees as the greatest strength of DIVIS: "Here a motivated team works on the optimal solutions for DIVIS customers."
His own strengths match these advantages, like the key to the lock: Christopher works himself through difficult problems until all options are exhausted or the solution is found.

tobias

Tobias Schwede

With Tobias DIVIS has been able to win another talent for the development team.

He completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science at the University of Kiel.

Since the end of 2018, Tobias has been responsible for the continuation of a joint project between DIVIS and the university. Since November 1, 2019 he is now an integral part of our team. With his passion for computers, technology and the solving of complex tasks, he fits perfectly here.

Tobias immediately felt comfortable in the flat hierarchies and the team spirit at DIVIS and is now developing intelligent total solutions for your company together with us.

He also plans to write his upcoming doctoral thesis on specific aspects of image processing at DIVIS. In our efforts to promote employees, we will gladly support him by making Tobias time quotas available for the preparation of his dissertation.

christian

Christian Kiehn

Christian began his master's thesis in April 2019 for his DIVIS Master of Science degree. The topic of his work, "Anonymization of Persons with Neural Networks", also includes the future oriented topics of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. Thus, DIVIS now has an AI expert in the team with Christian, who has already tested several approaches at DIVIS in the context of his thesis.

Since November 1, 2019, he also focuses on the development and design of new software in the DIVIS team.

He particularly likes about his work that his creativity is required in developing software products and solving problems. He immediately felt comfortable in the DIVIS team and enjoys the friendly interaction, the positive atmosphere and independent work.

He feels like the greatest strength of DIVIS is the focus on tailor-made solutions for the individual requirements of the customers.

Stephanie Schade DIVIS | Produktentwicklung | Videoüberwachung für die Logistik

Stephanie Schade

Since 2014, the qualified computer scientist has been working in the development department at DIVIS. Together with her colleagues, she is in charge of project planning, feasibility analysis and new developments from the idea to the finished product.

"I started my computer science studies, because I felt pretty tech-savvy already as a child. I like to systematically approach tasks. I like to analyze and develop workable, elegant and creative solutions. "

The freedom to decide in an team with equal rights, which projects can be implemented, when to contribute ideas and pursue them, the ability to react quickly and flexibly, when external or internal factors change the starting position or the framework conditions, open communication and being supported, even when she has to say no, Stephanie thinks is the best mix for innovative results.
"To think outside the box", for example in the form of the agile workflow, in her opinion is one of the main ingredients for the success of DIVIS.

DIVIS Marten Jensen

Marten Jensen

The Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) / Media Informatics is in his world when programming. From planning a software architecture, over coding and debugging, to the result that performs the intended functions reliably, all these elements are a welcome challenge for Marten. He sees problem solving as a chance to apply and expand his knowledge in full on the way to the finished product.

At DIVIS he enjoys the relaxed working atmosphere and helpful teammates.
"Thanks to the agile way of working, you are not working on the same task five days a week, but work on different fields," he says happily.
His goal is to develop working and easy-to-use solutions that allow users to work intuitively. Marten sees frustration-free operation and easy usability of a software as an essential contribution to customer enthusiasm at DIVIS.
One particular strength of DIVIS Marten sees in the readiness to adapt to growing or changing needs.

His assessment: "DIVIS does not wait until a job or product stops working. Processes and structure are constantly evolving to always offer state-of-the-art products and solutions."
