The Corona crisis and the resulting shift in buying behavior to the Internet are increasing the pressure on the traditional logistics industry and creating new hurdles, but at the same time they are opening up new business potential. However, this growing market is also marked by competition.<\/p>\n\t

In the future, transparency, affordability, convenience and speed will be the decisive factors for success. Same-day delivery and delivery within certain hourly time windows will set the gold standard, because this also fulfills the last remaining wish of consumers – to receive the goods directly on the same day.<\/p>\n

Strategies to emerge from these developments in a stable or even strengthened position include measures on several levels. On the one hand, cooperation with start-ups will be more important in the future, and on the other, comprehensive automation and digitisation.<\/p>\n\t
