The expectations of online retailers and their customers as well as delivery obstacles such as unsuccessful delivery attempts due the recipient&#8217;s absence define the problems of the last mile. In order to keep delivery costs as low as possible and to work efficiently, CEP services have to bundle the single packages in a way that results in fast and efficient routes. In addition, shipping service providers are now expected to provide various choices of delivery channels and time slots.<\/p>\n\t<p>With the help of continuous parcel tracking, delays and problems on the last mile can be minimised.
