Fragmentation of individual characters caused by coarse soiling or partial conceiling caused by protruding vehicle parts can impair recognition.<\/em> <\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\tLicense plate recognition features with automatic barrier control in License Plate<sup>+<\/sup>\n\t<\/h1>\n<h1>\n\t\t1. Research of license plates recorded with License Plate<sup>+<\/sup> directly in CargoVIS or ParcelVIS\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>The license plates recorded via License Plate<sup>+<\/sup> can be viewed in the license plate list, which can be found under the corresponding tab in the head of the research area. Management of license plates in the control system\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>The license plates can be managed in the CargoVIS or ParcelVIS software using a rule system. Here, different authorisations can be defined for certain license plates and will then be applied by the automatic barrier control.<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\t3. Automatic barrier control, also with time-delayed action\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>License Plate<sup>+<\/sup> controls the automatic opening of barriers in entry and exit areas. Recognised license plates are compared with the control system in the DIVIS software. If the respective license plate is authorised, the corresponding barrier opens automatically, controlled by the software, to allow the vehicle to pass. Regardless of automation, manual control of the barriers is still possible at any time using a button in the camera image. Even if a barrier remains closed because no rule has yet been set for a license plate, entry can be granted manually. Barriers can also be configured to open with a time delay, for example during check-in at the entrance.<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\t4. Full overview &#8211; statistics on entries and exits\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>Our software provides extensive statistics for a comprehensive overview of the utilisation of the site. This means that you get an overview of all vehicle movements that can be used for your yard management. The statistics can also help to identify optimisation potential in the access and departure management. The provided information includes, but is not limited to, the time periods trucks have been parked in the yard, times of arrival and departures, the period between entering and leaving the yard and other license plate-related events.<\/p>\n\t<p>NOTE: Some of the functions described above have been added with the software update 1.7.0. In order to use these functions, the DIVIS recorder must also be updated to the latest firmware version. However, this only applies to new features.
