With this special announcement, we are providing clarity and want to ease your concerns.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.divis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/software-DE-1.jpg\" alt=\"Sondermitteilung: DIVIS-Videosysteme nicht von JAVA-Sicherheitsl\u00fccke betroffen\" title=\"software-DE\" itemprop=\"image\"  \/>\n<h2>\n\t\tSoftware\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>The DIVIS software is <strong>NOT<\/strong> affected by the current security vulnerability.<\/p>\n\tThe security gap described concerns a widely used JAVA library.\u202f However, neither the application software nor the recorder firmware is using JAVA.<br \/>\nIn some cases, third-party software is in use on the recorders. We have checked this and, as far as we know, it is not affected by the vulnerability CVE-2021-44228.\n<h2>\n\t\tHardware\n\t<\/h2>\n\tWe are also not aware of any issues with third-party hardware (e.g. switches, cameras, location servers, and components) so far.<br \/>\nHowever, we have contacted the manufacturers to obtain further information.\u202fShould the information from the manufacturers reveal the suspicion of a vulnerability, we will inform you in detail about the measures taken as soon as possible.\n\tThe security of our products and your safety are essential to us.
