Expansion into Eastern Europe: DIVIS establishes first branch in the Czech Republic

The year 2023 is marked by exciting developments for DIVIS. We take pride in our reputation as a forward-thinking provider of software-based video management systems as well as an attractive employer. Our goal is to further strengthen this image internationally and to continue our expansion in Europe. We have already successfully expanded and consolidated our market position in many European markets. Now we also strive towards greater recognition of our innovative solutions in Eastern Europe.
In November 2022, we set an important milestone to further establish our first DIVIS subsidiary outside Germany, DIVIS CEE, s.r.o. in Prague, to strengthen our position in the Eastern European market.
Our strategic goal is to offer our solutions in Eastern Europe with the professional and fast service we are known for by expanding our local operations and staff. Through our new office and a growing team of technicians, sales and service staff, we are able to serve the CEE (*Central Eastern Europe) region in their native language. Our local presence enables us to optimally support our customers in Eastern Europe in their national language and further expand our position in this important market.
With Jakub Smolka, our office is getting a very experienced and competent managing director. In addition to a Bachelor's degree in Economy and Management, Jakub has leadership practice in the management of well-known companies and posesses years of experience in developing and implementing successful business strategies, budgeting as well as coordinating marketing activities. With his expertise in the sales of software-based video management systems and in building key relationships with customers from the logistics industry, Jakub will successfully drive our Czech branch forward. His fluency in five languages enables him to communicate efficiently in the Eastern European region and internationally. In Jakub's field of activity, once again true to our guiding principle, customers and employees will always be at the centre of all actions.
