ParcelVIS links video data, scanning and sorting information. Once identified by the parcel label number, you can track the path of a shipment until the transfer of liability.
Conventional video or scan data systems do not allow for an efficient parcel tracking. High parcel numbers in the depot combined with the required reaction times in the shipment investigation would result in an unreasonably high number of personnel, while still providing a lower level of information.
